Internships and Mentoring
Acquiring relevant, real-world job skills and a corresponding education is the goal of many high school and college students as well as members of our military transitioning back into the civilian world. Presnell Plantation offers the opportunity for students and veterans to work alongside Plantation staff as they perform their jobs maintaining the facilities, grounds, and wildlife habitat as well as during program activities. Interns have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and skills in areas of the outdoor sporting, recreation and agriculture. Presnell Plantation works with educational institutions and affiliate organizations to identify internship candidates.
